Modding leased F32 without breaking warrenty

I'm leasing a '15 F32 and I want to get some carbon fiber replacement mirror caps online. I can obviously put the original mirror caps back on before I return the lease, but is BMW going to give me any trouble when I take it in for service and they notice a small cosmetic mod like this? This is my first time leasing a car so I'm not really sure what to expect. Thanks!

Don't worry man, I'm leasing and I have exhaust, suspension, a carbon spoiler, a tune, and some other small cosmetic mods and I haven't had any problems yet

Only downside is you're pouring custom money onto a leased vehicle that you will have to either give back our buy out at the end. If you're buying out, then great. If not, you're giving BMW the benefit of your upgrades.

Why do people always bring this up?

It's a replaceable part. So when I return the lease I can put in on my next car (assuming of course, that the '18 F32 has the same mirror, which isn't a guarantee).

Because they don't realize you can take off mods too .

OP, I've gone into my dealer with aftermarket wheels, black grills, tinted windows, lowered, tune and an exhaust. They don't say a thing.

Whether I lease or not, I would get a new car in max 3 years. Whether I leased or owned, I have modified my cars, brought them back to stock to sell, trade in or return and have been able to sell my aftermarket parts (in good condition) for at least 50% of the purchasing price.
In the end, it is for sure a matter of how much money you want to spend on your car...

And how you want your car to look and perform while you drive.

You lose money on mods no matter what, if you buy you will not get much for leaving them on when you sell, or you have to take them off and sell them just like if you leased.

Never heard of any warranty being voided because of mirror caps.
I used to take my leased F30 with a Jb + catless DP to the dealership with no problem
