Hi guys,

I have been searching online, but I could find any information on front step LED's. I have a 2014 328i and I noticed that my front step LEDs stopped working. The passenger side never did, but the driver's side always did just as the door handles when opening the car. Anybody has experienced this in the new models? Those lights are kind of cool, is a shame they stopped working so soon!

My guess would be that that's a warranty issue. An LED shouldn't burn out so quick, so maybe it's a loose connection or something.

I agree.

Pretty much anything other than tires and wheels would be covered under warranty, unless you got in an accident or it was due to abusive wear and tear.

It just a bummer because the service center is so far away to just take in for an non working LED.

Good thing it's not an emergency! Wait until you're going there for something else.
