Question Coding not working, BMWhatapp Help

I have a 2011 335i xdrive coupe, bought bmwhatapp and the orginal bmwhatapp cable and usb to micro usb. the car connects to it but says 0 compatible ECUs. anything you guys recommend I try?

First I think anything newer than a 2006 uses the Bluetooth/Wifi dongle not the cable.

I paid a ton for the app, I got a cheap dongle on ebay. It depends if you are android or iphone user.

Your engine must be running for it to detect the ECU.

Engine does not have to be on, just ignition must be on.
