The obvious, when you switched in to Sport mode and the pic of the car comes on your nav screen did you push the i drive to the right and find the display in the window to the right?

Pic of the car doesn't always come up. That can be turned off. For those of use who don't want the passengers knowing what mode we're in, the Sport Displays are available through the iDrive Menu. Think its under Vehicle Info, down at the bottom.

That sucks.
Is that because you need the larger screen for it to work? Reason I ask is 'cause dealer is going to code SAT Radio for me next week and asked if I want anything else coded. Does anyone know if the Sports Display can be 'coded' by the dealer even if you don't have Navigation? |

If you have the new HU_ENTRYNAV then Sport Displays can be coded and will work on your car. I've done it for a few people with cars made in the past few months.
EDIT: Noticed your in Brooklyn, I'm about 25-30 mins east on LI and can most likely code this and other things for you. EDIT AGAIN: Changed name from NBT_Entry to the proper HU_ENTRYNAV
