I just bought and installed these sticker to the rear emblem of my M
it came out great, i will post a pic later this week. the best upgrade ever i know my M picked up a few HP, well style points anyway.

), it seems this is actually a replacement "sticker" for the 3 stripes within the chrome boundary of our ///Mx badges on the boot (trunk) of the car.

So, how many people have ever needed to replace their badge?
Some overly concentrated jet washing or perhaps some oh too vigorous buffing?

I have to stop...

Never waxed or buffed a BMW in years through 6 Bmw's, clear cote always shines, best wax only stays and protects if anything for a wash or two. The more friction applied through buffing & waxing the lower you take the clear cote, then the more you need to wax and buff. I never have swirl marks, paint appears new. Yes a microfiber cloth will slide nice after waxing but appearance the same. I've had black ones white ones, blue.

Many will disagree with this but I will show you old paint on a 2 yr old 1 series the car has only been washed and it will look just like your paint when you've waxed 20 times. Waxing is overated on new cars since materials have improved over the years.

And as far as those cheap replicas on eBay for M stripes, it kind of reminds me of the guy that buys a half a million dollar house and goes to Home Depot and spends $29 on landscape lighting that runs Solar, and lights up his sidewalk approache to his house, talk about cheap.
