Track day in CT/NY area?

First off, sorry if this is a repost.

I am relatively new to this area and was wondering if there's a race track or motorway that are open to public in CT or NY area. Any information about pricing, licensing, and safety requirements would be appreciated.

There are two tracks in CT that are open to the public, Lime Rock Park and Thompson. You can get track days at Lime Rock through BMWCCA or SCDA (Sports Car Drivers Association). SCDA hosts track days at a number of tracks in the North East including Lime Rock, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Thompson, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Watkins Glen International.

Running with BMWCCA def makes you feel more at home. When I ran my E92 i met a lot of people that drove the same car and got some really good feedback. Every organization in this area is pretty good.
