Steering wheel reupholstery

Hi guys, I have an e90 with the non-sport steering wheel and I want to upgrade to something that is thicker and feels better without having to buy the round sport airbag. Is there any way of getting the stock one reupholstered or are there any replacement wheels for the non sport model?

It's not too much thicker. Maybe if you request them to do it they can work something out.
