do you use that cup holder inside arm rest?

I'm wondering if any of you use the cup holder inside the arm rest. I imagine you need to get a pretty small thermist for this? Obvious a mug would spill all over..

thanks

It's useless. It is heated, or cooled, so if I need to defrost or warm something up, I just stick it in there for a few mins

The reason I ask is really for those long drives. You know how a water bottle just tumbles over in the regular cup holders...

Its used by something else...the only thing you need to do is drink a little of the water and it won't tip anymore in the regular cup holder!!

I took a solo cup, cut it so it fit snugly, and use it as a coin-holder. Works really well

Yes, damn the ash tray and lighter. I really don't care for those. I could use a large coin tray or storage bin in the front and a "real" cup holder. I'm just wondering since my wife would like to put a thermist in there. But I don't know where the hell I'm going to find a thermist that fits in that tiny ass cup holder.

I put my house/gate key in there, never use it for a cup as I like the lid closed.

It is not intended to be a cup holder.

Put two hands on the wheel and save the 64 oz soda for when you're not driving. The Euros have it right...

I avoid it - if anything spills, it spills on the ipod and cell phone adapter, so pretty useless in my book!

I put my morning Starbucks in it to keep the content warm so that I can drink it when I get to work.

Alright, I've concluded from everyone's opinions that I can fit a small coffee in there. But when I drive the car, it's going to be an ipod holder.
