2008 Detroit Autoshow - BMW X6 + X5 Diesel

Here are some pics of the new X6....and the X5 Diesel.

Notice the turbos on the top of the engine. The hood just looks normal...

great pics! the front end of the X6 is just sick IMO, the back is still growing on me, but the front is perfect

OMG. The engine in the X6 doesn't have a plastic cover!

The X6 is not a diesel.
Twin Turbo 4.4L V8. Puts out 400+hp with a similarly incredible amount of torque.
The turbos would melt any plastic near there.

But I do like the Diesel X5. That just may be my next car.
