Brighter Corona eyes?

do the coupes have a brighter bulb for the corona eyes? i notice when i pass a coupe they are just gleeming and mine are very subtle in my sedan.

thoughts?

It's an illusion. The E90 has equal brightness in all the rings, while the E92/93's inner rings are brighter than the outer rings.

If you want to go really bright, look into Lux 5.0 for your sedan.

2007 E93  [0.00]
On the E92 &93 switching on the DRL makes the rings bright enough to pass as DRL. As soon as you turn DRL off or turn the headlights on they should drop to the normal brightness level. The sedan and wagon don't have this feature because they use a different light fixture from the coupe or vert.

Wrong, look at the side by side.

Yes the coupe's are not only a bit brighter, but whiter.
The sedans are more "yellow" in color.
They use different bulbs between the two cars.

both OEM bulbs are halogen bulbs and their light output color is very similar. The sedan's look more yellow because the light is less intense as well.
