Cool Opinions on Quick Detailers?

Mothers or Meguiars. Can these be used without a wash?

Unless you like a swirled up car, no. Now if you had washed the car the day before and it rained while your car was sitting in the driveway, then sure. But only a day or two after a thorough hand car wash, not even after a touchless wash. Once you clear 3 days after a wash I wouldn't use a QD unless you QD the car every day.

Now I don't use either of their products other then when it's free and I'm claying the car with it. For everyday use I like Poorboy's Spray and Wipe. I also hear Chemical Guys QD is exceptional as well.

Isn't Spray and Wipe just a quick detailer? I was looking at the back of the bottle and it seems to have the same active ingredients as most QD.

SW is a waterless wash. PB SG is their QD.

I QD my car DIRTY M5 all the time, its not recommended but its all the time I got for my own car.

All of them have a similar formula. Buy what you want, I just personally like poorboys and would rather spend a couple extra bucks for the peace of mind thinking its a better product then megs or mothers.

You also have the skills to remove the damage you cause unlike most of the people on here.

Hey cool. What year is your M5? I've been wanting to use QD to just get rid of the rain water spots. I usually wash my car weekly.

I highly recommend Finish Kare 425 (FK425). It's amazing stuff IMO. A lot of people on the detailing forum also rave about it. It leaves an extremely glossy and slick finish and has anti-static capabilities to help keep dust off. Try it!
