FS: Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust in Central Florida
SOLD!
All, I have an opportunity to test out and keep an exhaust from a different manufacturer, so I'm going to sell my Akra. You know I can't resist playing with something new. I bought the Akra from another member in Cali. He said he had about 300 miles on the exhaust. He has a solid reputation on the forum. I hope I have a similar rep and assure you the exhaust is in very good condition. This is the Full Titanium Evolution version with Carbon Fiber Tips not including downpipes. Includes: center section(mid-pipe) with resonator, valved rear section, double walled carbon/titanium tips, and all hardware. I have the boxes and manuals as well. http://europeanautosource.com/akrapo...f83-m3-m4.html http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...st-system-1406 It would be much easier to do this locally as the exhaust needs to be shipped freight. I can certainly ship it, but would rather sell it to someone that is local. (that way I can still see it around town ) I actually really like the exhaust. I prefer it with the valves disconnected, but it obviously works well either way. In full disclosure, I was a little reluctant to test the new exhaust I'm getting because I already like this one so much. I'm confident pretty much anyone that buys this will like it. Here's the deal. I would like to keep the exhaust until my new one shows up to save me from having to mount that massive stock exhaust back on the car. The new one should be here in a few weeks. This does give you the chance to come hear it in person if you'd like. I bought the exhaust pretty inexpensively. I paid $5,431 with shipping and fees. I'd like to get my money back on it. I'll also throw in a bit of a kicker. If you're willing to come by my house, I'll install it for you. We could grab some lunch and get it done in a few hours. Plus, you get to hang out with me for free, and I'm internet famous. We could also play with the GT3 a bit if you'd like. So I'm selling for $5,400 installed, picked up, or meet-up. I'm sure I could be convinced to talk numbers if you just want to come get it and go. I'm sure we could do a simple Paypal Gift to handle the transaction, since you'll be able to inspect the exhaust before buying. (unless you want to bring me cash ) Before I put it on the car: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-w...o/0U9A5271.jpg Last edited by Money2536; 03-26-2015 at 08:36 PM.. |

not trying to be all over Money's nuts or anything; but watching his videos and the care he takes for his property, I'd be willing to bet you this exhaust is in better condition then when he received it.

I removed the exhaust this weekend. It looks really good. Here is what it looked like dirty, straight from the car. I gave is a good soaking of Adam's Detail Spray and wiped it down. WD-40 and Titanium are a match made in heaven. Does the manly awesomeness of cleaning up an Akra exhaust in the garage offset me catching up on The Bachelor???? After WD-40 There are a few scratches from pressing against the heat shielding under the car. I don't have a lift, so I have to hold the mid section up with my knee while squeezed under the car. This is the casualty. I'm guessing it won't effect performance and you won't be able to see it since it's on the top side. This thing cleans up nicely. I forgot to take dirty photos. This thing really is a piece of art. I'm not sure I'd pay $7,000 for one, but it is certainly a cool thing to have. The only reason I'm selling it is to try out the AWE, which I also love. If you need more photos, just let me know. Last edited by Money2536; 03-26-2015 at 08:35 PM.. |

I still have the exhaust. I haven't put in much of an effort to sell it, but the giant boxes in the garage are driving me crazy. I'm going to open it up to ship. It is going to have to freight, so it's not going to be cheap.
