Active LED on a E90?

Looking for the pro's here. If one was to mod out the body or use a newer front end to fit the Active LED from a F80, Headlights, FRM and Mirror cam, could the rest of the components support it? From what I get the FRM is the brain and if the cam was there it seems like it could be done. Anyone know?

I think the pic is actually a 7 series, the headlights actually look closer to E90.
