New BMW M235i - Gear Box
Hi all,
I have just traded in my 2013 Z4 for a new M235i - it is due to be delivered at the end of March (I can't wait). I test drove an automatic version, but have ordered a manual (I believe manual is best in cars like this - but of course thats just my opinion). This may sound strange, but when the auto box was in manual mode, using the paddles on the steering wheel, it made a really nice exhaust note when changing up a gear. Do you get this in the manual gear box? It is not a big deal - just curious. Looking forward to taking delivery of mine Thanks for your time |

I believe the exhaust farts are a factor of shift speed and rev matching software.
So if you can shift in 200 ms while simultaneously rev matching the car I assume it will make the sound. Up to you whether or not you think you can do that haha. |
Appreciate
