Targa Trophy MEGARUN // TAG Motorsports 3x M4 // An eGarage Film

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com

Designed not only for the car enthusiast, but specifically, the driving enthusiast. The true driving enthusiast - where man, machine and the road less traveled come together to create an experience that changes ones perspective on life and further fuels the passion to explore ones boundaries. This is what Targa Trophy is about...welcome to Targa Trophy MEGARUN!

We at TAG Motorsports have been attending Targa Trophy events since its inception. They are truly one of a kind experiences where we have grown to become closer family with those attending event after event with us. This year, Targa Trophy did something epic with a 3-day event spanning from San Diego - Scottsdale - Vegas and ending in Los Angeles. TAG Motorsports sponsored this event (as we have many others) and we made sure to bring some of our best to this one!

This year, we had 3 BMW M4’s that we had built: The AutoArmour M4, Targa Trophy Project M4, and TAG Motorsports Black Betty M4 project (Click the image of each of the three cars below to check out their full build threads on Bimmerpost.) Amongst the 3 TAG M4's, we also brought out a few of our good clients as well which included 458 Italia, RS4, 2x RS5's, an S4 and an R8. The lineup was packed with tons of other exotics, and performance cars as well, making the field a diverse and fun filled group!

This year, Targa Trophy teamed up with our friends at eGarage, to make this epic film. The experience was something that we really enjoyed spending with our good clients, old friends and new friends.

It was an awesome trip. I am looking forward to doing the next one.

On another note, I saw the Satin YMB Tag m4 up here in the Bay Area the other day.

seems pretty self explanatory...

it says "show places to stop". i would assume when you put in a far destination in the nav system and you have been driving for a good amount of time, the nav system will kick in and give you possible poi so you can grab coffee or some food. i just made all of this up and i'm pretty sure i'm not too far off. I think the German cars particularly are good about offering a break every couple hours in a long drive for safety reasons. Seem to remember an old Audi AR doing that.

That was on my car while I was driving while filming. If the car notices you drifting out of your lane (while lane assist is on) it will assume you are about to sleep. Mercedes has a very similar setup.

It is a timed event, where the closest to the bogey time wins, now the bogey time is unknown to the drivers - all we are told it is a "Spirited drive."

Too long on the road and it pops up. Wonder what time or mileage causes it?
