I vowed never to do another wheel bearing replacement after replacing the ones on my e30. I could not for the life of me get the bearing out of the hub. Torches, sliding weight puller, chisel. I ended up carefully cutting little slits into it with a dremel and chiseled it out. I've never cursed so much working on a car.

I believe the fronts are easy just four bolts and the hub comes out and you replace it the rears you have to press ini/out.
How i do the rears i dissable the whole aasembly take it to a shop with a press they usually charge me $20-30 per side to press the new bearing out and new one in and i assamble it myself. |

If it's anything like the e46 it's pretty straight forward if you replace the whole assembly
YT it for the e46 chassis (a lot more videos) and it will give you a good idea |

Thankfully, E9X wheel bearings are loads easier to deal with compared to previous models.

I just replaced the right rear on my 06 325xi in an afternoon, I made a puller and did it on the car, was a kind of a pain but not bad ordered the bearing for the other side and front as well hopefully my puller will work for the front as well

I just did it last week and it was really simple. Take the wheel off, take off 2 18mm bolts on the caliper bracket take the rotor off then turn the wheel towards the side that you're working on. After that it's 4 18mm bolts I used my jack handle on a ratchet to take them off. You can get to all 4 bolts from the front of the car with the wheel turned. If you don't get new bolts for the hub clean them off and put red locktite on them. Put it back in reverse order make sure to torque down the hub bolts. I forgot what they are supposed to be torqued to but Google can help you there .
