Analog speedo correction?
Has anyone tried disabling BC_V_KORREKTUR? Will coding it to nicht active give the true speed on the analog gauge? I've already disabled the Korrektur on the digital speed.

Mine is set to aktiv right now. It reads 3-4mph higher than my digital speed with the correction turned off which is what the true car speed is. I'm thinking if I set it to nicht aktiv like the digital speed they will both give me the true car speed.

Give it a go. I did mine and it's better now. I like knowing what speed I'm going. Before I would hold traffic if followed speedo, or it was always "going with the flow" kinda deal. |

I changed BC_V_KORREKTUR from active to not active and it did absolutely nothing to the analog speed. My result is common. The digital speedo correction did work however.
People claim they have done the correction, but not by using BC_V_KORREKTUR. This thread has some more info: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1085290

I'll have to roll back my settings and test different speeds and change back to compare and be 100% sure. I felt it was better by 50% at least, but I want to be able to put money on it, so hopefully it will all be the same for the 2007 models. |

I just did it and took it for a test drive. Instead of a 3-4 mph difference it's around 0-1. So I guess in my case it worked. Btw, my car is a 02/2013 build E92 so most of the modules are the latest and greatest. Only thing I can't get to work is the damn auto headlight sensitivity menu on my BC. It just won't work with my CIC version for some reason.

I checked this morning, all active. I've coded just about everything there is to code, VIM, triple blinkers, etc. I've edited daten files, nettodat files, the works, so I'm pretty comfortable doing any kind of coding but I'm stumped.

Weird, but your car has the nav so it may be different.
16 Auto Light Sensitivity Control in Idrive (Multiple Changes required, see Description) CAPPL (CCC) RAIN_LIGHT_SENSOR [1] [1] X [1] [1] [1] [1] Allows you to control the auto light/rain sensor in idrive- Change setting to ACTIVE. I can find all those values on my FSW_PSW TRC but I don't have a CCC module to read. I just need to find the module they're in now.

Do a FA_READ rather than SG_CODIEREN to pull everything in one file. And then you go from there to look into which module it is (or use ncsdummy). That's what I do.
