Photo of business idrive controller

Just been reading up on this, and it looks like the idrive controller for business is different to professional but I canlt find a photo of it anywhere, does anyone know what it looks like? I really liked the large wheel supplied with the pro version!

I like the smaller one, it just looks a lot neater, less like a saucer.

Yes. When they went to the 14 model year cars (I think those that were manufactured from late August 2013, the pro nav got a couple of extra features, specifically the touchpad method of data entry in addition to the existing turn the wheel and push to select) so the wheel got bigger then.

The touch pad is quite good. My writing is pretty crap (and I have to operate it with my left hand) yet it still tends to understand my scrawl. Certainly a lot better than the speech recognition understands my words! Unless the car is bitter because I have turned off spoken sat nav instructions so it's just playing hard to get...

I love the touch pad, it helps that I am left handed and can easily enter post codes. Totally faultless.

I found the voice commands thing a bit tricky, however I the dealer update the software to include the Regional accents pack, I needed the Geordie Voice pack.

It now works fine,.

Yeah the touch writing is pretty neat, handy for no look entering if info.

I like that you can swipe the controller left and right to change slider settings in the menus (like bass, treble etc)...

Wasn't aware of this feature. Even though I never change those settings, obviously I will have to try it out!

My voice control sucks. Never gets anything right! Yet "Hey Siri" when it's plugged in in the arm rest works perfect!
