Cobb V3 turbo spikes at?
Hey guys quick ?....I've had my 335i tuned on the Cobb v3 aggressive for about 6 months now. Question is I used to spike at like 14 or 15 psi when looking at the turbo gauge now seems like I can't get it over 13 or so ....any reasoning behind this just curiosity. ..I'm all stock motor wise...car still is fast just wondering if needed to reprogram it again . Thanks !

Maybe you have a boost leak? Take a close look at your charge pipe--connectors loose or completely off, or cracked pipe.
What kind of boost gauge you running?

Heh, let me see if I can dig up a picture. Too lazy to go out to the garage and take a pic of my car's engine bay....

Okay, I can't believe it's so difficult to find a (good) pic online for this.
Try this youtube vid. 55 seconds in, the metal plate at the bottom of the item he's taking out of the engine bay is the throttle plate--the charge pipe connects to that. Call it.... about 1/3rd down the engine on the drivers side.

Thanks man....yeah I mean if it cracked or the stock one went bad wouldn't the boost go really down....? Is that why everyone upgrades before the stock one breaks if their tuned....?

Usually yes. In fact often you'll see a boost pressure error.
Maybe you have some misfiring?

Take a log and post.
If its just 1 or so PSI lower I doubt a leak. It could be due to many things, even the cold weather. |

OP is probably running Stage 1 as he is stock whereas you are probably running Stage 2 being FBO.
