Window fog issue
I have never had a vehicle that the windows fog up as easily as BMW's. My Wife had a 2002 330ci and the windows fogged up in it like nothing I had ever seen before.
Seeing as how it is somewhat difficult to effectively clean the front and rear windows (especially the corners) does anyone have an effective anti-fog treatment? |

I've noticed my car does it much worse than my wifes. I think I'm going to try some of that Rain-X anti-fog stuff.
Has anyone else gotten the really weird instant fog? A couple of weeks ago on my into work at the same spot to days in a row my windows went from completely clear to totally fogged in seriously about 2-3 seconds. I've never seen this happen before. It also happened to one of my co-workers with a new Mustang the same two days. |

humidity. BMW auto climate control pushes air out of all three vents (defrost, dash, footwell). Humid/warm air hits your cold windshield and u get insta-fog. A/C on will fix that. |

Yeah that's what I did. I just thought it was amazing how quickly it fogged up. It was like something from Mr.Wizard.

Glass Science makes a product called Fog Clear, which works pretty well. I've used it on a shower mirror and racquetball goggles and it holds up quite well even under lots of moisture and hotter conditions than a vehicle typically sees. Usually I find I have to reapply it every couple of months for maximum effectiveness.
I haven't personally used it on my vehicles windows yet because I haven't had any fogging issues. George |

+1. fog is a zillion times worse when your windows are streaky. Invisible Glass is the first product I've used that leaves windows clean enough that I never see fog streaks.

I still get it through the Stoners Invisable, I guess I really need to get one of those triangle glass cleaner things, because my big dumb hands don't get the corners real well.
