Lowering adaptive m suspension?

Is this something people do? Is it a bad idea?

I ask because I am considering new aftermarket wheels and have a feeling if I throw some vorsteiner 103's or HRE's on my 335 the gap may be not pleasing

I have not seen any pics of those wheels on stock suspension height.

Additionally, would dropping a bit dramatically impact ride quality? Or is the tech good enough now to compensate for that?

If you get the right tire size the wheel gap will be the same as the rolling diameter will not change by much.

Right. Sorry was not clearer. Would get same size as is now, staggered 19", but wasn't sure if the 'look' would be more standoutish for the gap with premium aftermarket wheels..
