I have been using it for a couple of months and am very happy with it. I mounted it ~6in above the center lock on the dash

+1, unless you have one of those ridiculously large phone, that thing is sturdy enough to hold my iphone 6 at the road courses.

Here's a cheaper version of a magnetic mount: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I actually bought two of these to hold up a tablet. Before that I used a Kenu Airframe+, So ++1 for the Airframe! |

Definitely not a cheap option but would be a holder and charger together and has different mounting options. It also requires either a qi charging case or receiver on the back of the phone (can purchase those on ebay) |

You can always route the charger wire behind the front dash trim all the way to the fuse box or through the center dash to the cigarette lighter. Just depends on where you want to start and end.

I've used Kenu airframe and it's a good mount, but I think the Belkin one is a little better. I use my phone mainly for the Jb4 Mobiel app and with the Kenu you had to remove it from the vent and remount it horizontally. With this Belkin one you can just twist your phone while it is mounted to the vent. Also, both arms extend outward so the phone is mounted perfectly in the center.

The Kenu was a bit flimsy for my iPhone 6 Plus, but I might just try this one out- thanks man! I see it also rotates 360 degrees like the Kenu did- that was a major plus, and quite frankly would've been a dealbreaker in getting the Belkin. It's hardly surprising it's made by Belkin- one of the leading manufacturers of computer and electronics cables and accessories for decades. |

I use this one for the JB4 mobile app. Works pretty good.

My phone holder is called the imagnet but it's not really stealthy. It's pretty sleek though.

I mean, it's as though our cubby area was made for the 6+! I do the exact same thing now since my navigation system is pretty much dog shit in some cases. I've gotten to the point now where I can only trust Google maps and nothing else after getting screwed a couple of times by TomTom (AKA BMW nav). I have Morristown BMW asking me to drop the car off so that they can "fix" the problem, as they're pretty well convinced that it is simply a software glitch and they only have to reflash something in order to get my navigation working perfectly, but I don't see how they're going to do this... other than trying to sell me a 2015 map update, which I doubt will do anything for my navigation woes. I proposed that the best way to fix their issue with their navigation is to simply go with Google like every other normal system in this day and age. Does anyone even use TomTom for anything anymore? Sorry OP...no offense meant on you LOL |
