Intros: New to the area, not new to the forums
hey all,
Just moved to the PNW from the east coast (Northern VA area and prior to that NJ/NY). I've got a SGM e90 sedan which you may see around the Bellevue, Downtown Seattle, Renton areas at times. I live in Bellevue. Anyone else live there? My baby is actually going to Kent Collision on Saturday in need of a facelift. She'll be out soon and would love to find out about any meet and drives or just meets in the area. I'm told there's some fun roads in Mercer Island and what not. Cheers |

Hi there
Welcome to the area friend...I live in Bellevue myself and came from upstate NY few years back. Enjoy the area, the area traffic and shitty drivers but I think that you will love Bellevue area. |

I'd be cautious on East and West Mercer Way - it's a residential street, it's actually too twisty for good fun, and the MI cops are unfriendly to non-residents. Check out the Puget Sount Chapter BMWCCA's website - they've got the track day and tours on it. The best touring roads are SR 20 North Cascades, SR 410 Chinook Pass, and USFS Road 25 down the back side of Mt. St. Helens Monument (although it needs some maintenance), but they're still closed for winter (even though our winter has been blah.) Also, US 101 west side of Hood Canal is pretty nice. |

Welcome. Agree. Rather stay away from Mercer Island. Besides cops, it also bicyclists' "training" course. They are everywhere. This site has a lot of great info on finding some nice roads: http://www.motorcycleroads.us/states/wa.html

Welcome welcome. I as well just moved up here. If you need a shop to go to, go to IS Garage. Get your face lift there
There is a meet coming up tomorrow (saturday). A pretty big one. It's called Golden Gardens hosted by Stance Wars.

When is this meet? Sounds pretty cool considering Leavenworth's Bavarian style
