sputtering on semi-cold starts..

car starts fine when completely cold or warm.
after driving and sitting for about 2-4 hours, the car is "sputtering" for about 2 seconds before starting. No code in DME, no long crank.. any idea?

Could be one of multiple things either high pressure fuel pump on the way out, need new fuel injectors/coils/spark plugs
