Ordering 335i w/ M-tech or M-sport kit in US?
I guess I wasn't more specific............
I was wondering if you can order a 335i with the M-package in the US. Because I believe it was only available in Non-US spec cars in 2007. Is it available in 2008????? Thanks |

You could have posted this on the previous thread... but anyways.
What you're looking for is the M-tech aero kit. Yeah, you should be able to. It won't be installed at the factory, but your dealer can do it. Just search on here for E92 M-tech and get the part number. Then give it to your dealer and tell them you want it painted/installed prior to taking delivery.

I don't think the m-package is available yet, and I doubt it'll be available anytime soon because the front bumper on the m-package kit doesn't have any orange reflectors, which I heard is a requirement for US spec cars..
oh and to nmulax, I believe the OP is referring to this kit http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=mtech+kit+e92 not the aero kit |

Yeah, that was the kit I was talking about.... BMW calls it the "M-tech Aerodynamic Kit", I just shortened to M-tech Aero kit. But you're right, it's different then the standard Aero Kit.

do a search jeeze!!!!
no you can't or this board would be going crazy with the info...of course not!!!! you can order the aero package though...but not the one from europe..you have to get that put on part by part..no headliner but you can get the mtech front, rear diffuser, side skirts, m sport steering wheel..do a search and you will find a ton of info esp in the cosmetic section. i have the aero front, mtech sides and mtech steering wheel!! at the time last may i couldn't get anything but the sides they were like 230 from the dealer...they couldn't unlock the front and rear!!! you can get them now from one of the sponsors and it is oem from bmw.. i believe in canada. good luck and next time |

ED or no ED it does not matter. You get a US Spec car with US options. Their are no special options available if you do ED. The only thing you do get (if you remember to take it out of the car before dropping it off) is the first aid kit and road side reflector kit.

There are 2 different kits - The Aero Kit and the M-tech kit. The Aero kit is available in the US. The M-tech kit is not. You can order the bumpers and skirts from a few places on here but the full kit with wheel, headliner etc is not available unless you want to spend the money to piece it together and even then I think you will have a hard time getting all of the pieces.
good luck! |
