v2 Software Bug

Nothing major, but I did notice a bug when I was getting ready to log tonight. When you are removing channels to log, if you don't have anything selected and you hit the << the whole program crashes. I was able to repeat this every time. It works fine if there is a channel selected, but if not the program crashes. Just thought I'd point it out if it hasn't already been brought to the table.

I don't have that problem and usually when I turn off the car I'll close the lid of the laptop with the procede software still open. When I get inside to check the log the software is still open and functioning.

I really didn't mean to do it either... lol I just forgot to select a channel to remove and crash... Funny thing is if you try doing it with the >> button it doesn't crash. Just a bug, but I thought I'd report it anyways.

Are you connected to the procede when it is doing this process? If yes, then it is loading the map that is stored on the procede.

yes, right when I connect and start the program it says this...also, whats the best way to upload a new map or change the torque settings, do I need to have the ignition off but the car on? or is it ok to load while the car is started?

You can adjust user tq or update maps with the engine running or not. Doesn't matter. Just make sure the ignition is fully ON. You will no this because your gas gauge will work. To load a new map, just to File---> Open... and select the new map.

cool thanks for the info shiv, I was just confused since the orginal install instructions told me to have the car on but ignition off to upload the new map initially, unless i'm mixing that up with something else.

edit: ok wait a minute, when u said ignition on u didnt mean engine on...ok so I guess I meant, engine has to be off when loading. ok
