Black grills fitted, last mod - pic inside!

So I followed the numerous instructions to remove the original grills.

Move rubber bonnet seal, check
Undo the trim bolts, check
Locate grill tabs and push down, check

Get annoyed and pull so hard the bottom grill tabs snap off, yup,
On to the second grill and repeat,

Before:

After:

So car is now complete.

PPK
Rear diffuser
AC Schnitzer springs
Black Grills
12mm spacers all round

Looks very nice!

Regarding the repeat for second grill bit though, why didn't you just put your hand through the hole where the first grill was!?

So all of the bottom tabs snapped off?

I've snapped one off my black grills, i've bought some poly cement http://www.amazon.co.uk/Humbrol-28ml...s=Plastic+glue which should stick it permanently as it actually melts the plastic a little which effectively welds it together!

Look great I am getting the grills fitted by the dealer to avoid breaking anything. What make are your spacers thinking of getting a set for mine when it arrives?

Garage List
Car looks good and at least you're not cluttering up the garage.

Probably quicker and easier to snap them off when installing and glue them back on when you swap back. Sorted!

It only snapped off because i tried to remove the grill on a really cold day, turns out that's not a good idea as it makes the plastic very brittle!

That looks very similar to mine except without the front splitter

Is yours an xdrive? The rear seems to sit a bit higher than mine after the ACS springs?

Also what spacers did you use and where did you get them? I've been considering some ever since the ACS springs went on as it looks a little over arched......

I'm going to wait until I take off my winters though, the spray from those is terrible as it is, with spacers the car would simply never look clean again
