BMW price increase in Souh Africa from Feb 08?
I've ordered an AW 335i sedan in December, and now I hear there is a price increase from Feb 08 in SA.
Any SA members able to confirm what the new prices will be? This sucks, as I will only get it built in March for Aprill delivery. This is apparrently the only next open build allocation. |

Yip, 2% from Feb, So R 423300.00 (about US$ 58k base price)
Could have used the money for a SSTT. R 6400.00 in SA Oh well, nothing I can do about it. I also wanted the SA6FL option, but that only goes into production in SA from April. With a +_ 3-4 month allocation wait would mean delaying delivery until mid year. I can't wait that long |

I always believe about 10% of what I see on TV and in the news. Good news don't sell papers.
SA has its problems like most places. Africa's not for sissies. It also has a lot of positives Maybe we get option SA-AK47 [machine gun mounts on the fenders] |

I was down there a couple of years ago on business and it was beautiful. Like Sydney. I was in Johannesburg and Capetown. Had a great time. What is the SA6FL option?

SA6FL = USB port factory installed next to Aux in socket in center console. allows for full iPOD integration with special cable. Also allows for connection of some USB sticks or USB hard drives.
