Alphabet Delete In NC

Have any of you NC or Surrounding guys done any of the alphabet delete on the 335d?? If so, who has done the work and do you know of any shops or individuals around the Raleigh area that is capable of doing this??

I am also trying to find someone to do a CBU cleaning service as a precaution for me since I just hit 40,000 miles.

Thanks!!

Subscribed - I am in Florence, SC. I want to tee this up as soon as I am out of warranty. I also know of another 335d owner in Columbia, SC that is looking to do this sooner than later.

Talked to Dan today at Bimmer Performance Center in Raleigh, NC. He is ordering the attachment for the walnut shell blasting wand so he can do our diesel engines. We are going to do the CBU cleaning next week and he is going to use my car as a guinea pig. They also have a dyno onsite so we will be doing a dyno before and after on the car to see if and how much difference the cleaning makes power wise.

Dan also send that he wants to work on more diesels and that he is willing to help diesel enthusiasts in their endeavor. I know some of you in and around the area have expressed interest in getting tunes, alphabet deletes etc., maybe we can get together and work out a deal with him. The more he works on these cars, the more experience he will attain and rely less on the stealerships.

That's awesome! I tried to contact bimmer performance a while back but they didn't get back to me...no harm no foul tho. Once I move back to wake forest I plan on paying them a visit.

Did you guys clean it yet? I would be interested in getting cleaned too! Depends on the pricing I would also jump on the train for getting rid of the alphabet!

No, not yet. Waiting a couple of weeks so the shop can clear the backlog. That will also give me time to get all of the parts in. Will let you know as soon as I get a price quote from the guy.
