Hey all,

I just received my JB4 for my M235i and I am in dire need of guidance for the installation!! I've searched everywhere on the BMS site, the forums, and there seems to be nothing regarding an install on the M235i specifically. Can someone PLS PLS help me in finding a link for the install, or pictures that shows how the install is done? I've had a JB4 for my 135i and my 335i and it was nothing like what i have in my hand right now....two green loose wires...2 caps...wth...LOL...help.. pls.. haha

The jb4 install for the m235 n55 is literally EXACTLY the same as the N55 install on the 3/4 series f30/32 on BMS website. You engine bay looks almost identical with a couple notable differences that don't affect the install.

He's right, the N20 engine bay in the 228i is almost identical 328i and 428i, as the N55 in the M235i is almost the same as the 335i and 435i.

Speaking of which...you posted in the wrong topic subforum, this one is for the N20, so one of the moderators should move it the the N55 topic. Maybe someone there who has first hand experience can help you out better if the 335i/435i instructions are still not enough for you.

Manual or auto. New JB 4 is super simple, 2 wires to canbus and thats it. I had trouble getting to run with ff connector, just left that one stock. will retry this week when I get the EWG in.
