M Adaptive Sus & MPE Springs
The website isn't clear if this can be done or if another spring type is needed?
I've got the M adaptive suspension and wanted to add the MPE lowering springs but can't be sure if the combo is compatible? |

you technically CAN do it that way but its not the preferred application and it prolly wont handle that well - the proper way to update to MPE is to buy the whole kit (version compatible for adap sus) http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...75&startrow=26

sorry, what i meant was if you scroll down that page and see the MPE (item# 33502320981) - youll see an option for the package if your upgrading from standard suspension OR if your upgrading from msport/sport suspension
the MPE kit does away with the adaptive parts all together, no matter what you upgrade from, it is not meant to be used in conjunction with adaptive parts at all ... maybe that confused you more but the point is you cant pick and choose parts, its either the whole kit or not. And if you do upgrade to MPE you loose the adaptive ability in your susp

@VenomUK
Springs and dampers always have to be tuned for each other.. But since the M adaptive dampers in sport mode let the car be a little bit overdamped, my guess is that this combination will work rather well. |
