Me neither, not something I've done before, but a few others have done it and it does help to fill the arches a bit, so I figured why the hell not!

Also, I will add a stud conversion kit at same time and this has practical benefits when changing the wheels, so handy if you swap to winter tyres each year.

Look forward to seeing the pics after it's been done. Sam @ DT used to work in service @ BMW MK. One of the one people there who actually cared when I dealt with them.

Oooh! Looking forward to seeing what it looks like! Any further along with your dampers investigations?

Leaning towards a bilstein coilover set like what Gordon has fitted.
Will just wait to see where Birds development goes, or if Lorcan can do an irresistible deal!

I'm sitting on the fence and just watching for a little while. House building is now looking at £30k more than I budgeted (had meeting with builder and architect on Monday) so I expect I'll be keeping my car at least 4 years now! Finish paying off my 0% on power upgrade next month (can't believe it's nearly 12 months ago I did it!). Pondering on get RS setup.... Whilst it's expensive, I've got nothing but praise for ACS and in all honesty, I just don't have the time to muck about. Drive up, get Lorcan to fit and set up and drive home.

Laugh about fact your MPG has dropped. Amusingly, since I changed my sound thingy over to M3 sound, my MPG has dropped considerably. Gone from 39mpg to 35mpg. Now on summers, I'm down to 33mpg!!! Thing is, if I was driving an M3 in that way, it would be struggling to hit 20mpg so won't complain!

What kind of brakes do you have? Standard or M Brakes?

The blue MSport ones. I'm fitting the M performance discs though, which are grooved and dimpled, and also changing the brake lines and fluid to a higher spec.

M Perf and M Sport disc have the same diameter as I know.

Please see the attached from the german forum .

Original-Bremsen Variante 1 / Modelle bis und mit 328i/330d (inklusive Allrad):
Vorne Scheibe: 330x24mm (Millimeter) / Aluminium Bremssattel mit 1-Kolben Faustsattel (Kolbendurchmesser 57mm)
Hinten Scheibe: 300x20mm / Gusseisen Bremssattel mit 1-Kolben Faustsattel (Kolbendurchmesser 42mm)

Original-Bremsen Variante 2 / Modelle 335i, 335iX und 335dX:
Vorne Scheibe: 340x30mm (Millimeter) / Aluminium Bremssattel mit 4 Kolben Festsattel (Kolbendurchmesser 40mm)
Hinten Scheibe: 330x20mm / Gusseisen Bremssattel mit 1-Kolben Faustsattel (Kolbendurchmesser 42mm)

Preisliste Option „S2NHA“ M Sportbremsen (blau lackierte Bremssättel):

Vorne Scheibe: 370x30mm = Teilenummer 34 10 6 797 603 Modelle 328i, 335i, 325d, 330d, 335dX
Oder
Vorne Scheibe: 340x30mm = Teilenummer 34 10 6 797 602 Modelle kleiner als 328i & 325d

Hinten Scheibe: 345x24mm = Teilenummer 34 20 6 797 600 Modelle 328i, 335i, 325d, 330d, 335d

11.88 Kilogramm

I will also order the M Perf. brakes from Germany (cheaper ). If I had more money for this I would go for this http://www.ebay.de/itm/Movit-Bremsan...item27f7de6037

6 piston , but only front kit costs 3000£ ...

So will order the M Perf for 1400 front and rear

Disc size and name is the main point.
