Is this an air leak?

May be tough to tell from the photo and I am considering replacing this replacement CP anyway but this looks like a leak to me. The picture is a shot of where the CP connects on the engine side.

What do you guys think? Installation error or no worries?

That must be why there have been no responses, not even any sarcasm.

Dark discoloration where the CP attaches, kinda looks like an exhaust leak.

It appears to be minor if it is a leak but it's the C clamp and it's not like I can tighten it.

Spray some soapy water on it. Should be able to see movement if it is a leak.

Thank you! Kinda like looking for a slow leak on a tire losing air.

No its not a leak. The charge pipe has a gasket inside that sits on the Grove of the tb.

It appears your cp is snug up to the throttle body. I suggest double checking the O-ring you recycled from the stock cp for tears. If it is reusable, then reapply some silicon lube or WD40 and reinstall.

edit: my bad, are you actually claiming to be hearing a leak or something or ... visually..are you asking if there is a leak?

Both really. After installing the FMIC the sound changed which I guess should be expected. I noticed the discoloration around the throttle body and it looks like a leak. I'll hit it with some soapy water and see.

Any update post soapy water? If you have any way of making smoke, maybe try doing a rudimentary smoke test?
