So my cabin filter service light came up and I cannot reset it. My local dealership says to replace stereo. I have a K-D-can cable and I can see and code every module in my car. I have updated every ECU with WinKFP successfully but I cannot reset the service indicator with my odometer and BC stalk. Dashes for dates keep showing and reset doesn't take place. I also cannot find the service reset menu in INPA. I'm using 5.0.6 version of INPA and SP-Daten 54. What ECU handles this......JBBF, FRM, etc....?

Did you try with the odometer reset button or ISTA-D?

Did you read what I wrote? Maybe go ahead and do it out loud. Thanx for the suggestion though.

You could always simply disable the cabin filter service (night_aktiv) all together thru coding.

My 09 328ix didn't have this service reminder from the beginning, but I saw the option while doing Nettodat coding of my KOMBI when retrofitting an M3 gauge cluster.

No need to have a service reminder for this anyway, as the recommended replacement interval is once per year, I'm pretty sure you can remember that...

So do you think I need to default my Kombi to be able to reset this service? What line do I need to make nicht_activ?

I would install Rheingold and try to reset it, I can't believe that it doesn't want to be reset. Did you try to reset it using daily mileage reset? I don't mean BC stalk.

Look for these lines CBS_EINH_04H, CBS_STAT_04H, CBS_SCEN_04H. These are all the CBS lines for the microfilters, at least in my 2013 335is they are.

Thanx for the replies fellas. I was able to get it working by doing a SG_Reset on the JBBF and IHKA module. Weird but it now is reset and not saying it's due for service.
