Hello From A New Member

Evening all,

Just thought it right and proper to say hello. Have just agreed on a deal on a 11 month old F31 320d MSport in Black Sapphire with Coral Red and some nice options. Pick it up at the end of the month

Now going by the posts on here the 30/35d is the one I should have gone for and I will gladly take the usual forum

But the deal was to good to pass and a re-map at some stage is always an option.

Looking forward to being part of the forum, it's been some time since the last one.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum, it's always best to go for the deal you can get, rather than pushing things to far etc.

The 320d is fine, even with out a remap, it's a quick 4 pot diesel.

Remember the pics and list of options

Welcome to the party!

Nothing wrong with a 320d, sensible mans choice to be honest. Nice colour combo by the sounds of it....

Welcome aboard. My son's 320d was one of the reasons I came here looking for advice on me getting a BMW, and it's indeed a great car.
Infact, now I recall, I funded my son's 320d!

But as has been said, the engine is no slouch as it is.

Another tourer, they are soo popular. Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum, still wishing I had gone for the coral red interior, will look great against your black exterior as well.

Was saying this really necessary especially to a new member?

A very warm welcome.

Don't listen to some tight arsed know-it-all members who think they own this forum. There are many others who will be more supportive and great fun.

Enjoy your car.

It was clearly a joke as anyone with a sense of humour would know.

How many times have you slagged off tourers?????

Hey chompers, your first thread and you could be getting the full forum experience here

A bit of fisticuffs, which may escalate beyond all understanding a debate between tourers and saloons the natural 6cyl vs 4cl experience we are now just waiting on s versus x-drive, the absolute need for new springs and the old diesel vs petrol debate (Nick where are you man?). Soon we'll be discussing golf r's and slagging off each other's mums! Stick around! Argh its a great place

Note those posting at this time on a Saturday night are those (including me) are those who are likely missing out on both aspects of steak and bj day!

Now, who's first to tell him he needs acs springs and black grills? Then we can go real off topic and get all politics, or maybe just slag off each others mums

Welcome.

I hope you like washing cars, I have a Sapphire Black F31 and it always looks filthy! It is the best looking when clean though and your coral red interior will set it off a treat.

As for the engine, my last car was a 320d - it has plenty of poke and will go forever between fill ups. I'm sure you'll love it.

Only as a joke. Love BMW hearses, especially yours with the lowered suspension and the chipped engine. What a great way to send off a stiff!

It must be said, the forum does seem to be attracting people with more style and taste, hence the increase in Tourers

And the increase in Tourette's from the Salon owners

Obviously need a sub forum, - aka The Undertakers

Thanks all for the warm welcome

Had given myself up to 10 posts before some so I'll take it that my F30 cherry is well and truly lost

Spec is: MSport+ pack, HFS, Rear Camera, Interior pack, Folding Mirrors & Pro Media. Think that covers it.

As for the 4 pot. I'm p/x'ing a '12' plate 320d MSport vert so am more than aware of what to expect.

Car is coming from across the water as part of a family re-shuffle, should be a fun 24 hours to get it all sorted :roll eyes:

Anyway lots of questions to come, but will look through some posts before I open my mouth.

Should also add that I was under strict instructions from my 5 year old daughter that it should look like this.
