confused on what coding cable to get

Hello all. I have been doing some research and i think im confusing myself as to which dcan cable to buy to be compatible with my car. I own a 2013 335i xdrive e92.

Some ppl are buying a cable tht is $99 but says supports for 1998 or is it 1998+

Some are buying a cable tht is like 9 bucks.

All these reviews i am reading are for ppl with like 07 models so im confused on what cable to get bc the first cable from one stop falls under the 08 "stipulation"

For those of you with 2012 and 2013 e92's....or anyone with experience in this. What cable are you using. And are you using ncs expert? Inpa? Dis?

Thank you for taking the time out to read this. Any input would be helpful.

I've used this one on a 08 E90, 11 E90, and my present 13 E92 335is. I've used INPA, NCS expert, NCS dummy, WinKFP, etc with it with no problems.

The F series use the ethernet connection. You need the K+DCAN.

If you use the proper program. Doesn't work with NCS expert, dummy, or INPA I believe.
