Curious as well. Which packages are required to enable this?
Can you provide detail as to where you coded this?

On newer BMW like the F45/46, the PDC is active. I understand the hardware is different and a module is needed. I have been exploring too and not much success. As far as I know, it is not a simple coding to turn it on as a module is needed.

Thanks, that's what I was assuming. My parent's F15 X5 has it as an option in iDrive and they love it, especially pulling in the garage. Shame it's not an easy coding solution.

On my 2000 Honda Odyssey which I no longer have, auto PDC is standard. It is a cool feature to have on city traffic as you know when anybody creeps up to you or bikes trying to squeeze pass etc besides helping in parking and tight spot where currently you have to turn on the PDC. I am not sure why BMW chose not to give us auto PDC. I hope I am wrong about needing to add a module. |

It's active and will alert automatically below a certain speed. In our cars now you need to manually turn it on with the button by the shifter. Or putting the car in reverse will also turn it on for me.

Have we confirmed that a different module is needed for Auto PDC or is there something we are missing that needs to be coded besides "Auto PDC -> On"?

I am interested as well on how I can enable auto PDC. Everyday I have to turn from a busy road to my driveway and there is not a lot of room for me therefore it would be great if auto pdc would be a possibility under low speeds. If it bothers me when I am stuck in a traffic jam then this most probably means that I am driving too close to the car in front of me...
