Rear Diffuser, twin tail pipe & spacers

All fitted this morning

Rear diffuser (For all those with a towbar) doesn't need trimming but two of the mounting holes need re-positioning. In operation, the towbar will slightly foul one of the diffuser "Fins" & then auto retract. I found if you just hold the towbar then it will stay in position & lock.

Overall, declared chuffed.

Spacers work a treat (12mm front & 15mm rear) & will make my 403's look great when I get round to taking my winters off.

Only the front splitter & side skirts to fit now

Some to show where the Towbar sits.

Awesome

How easy was the exhaust fitting?

Spacers look well, stop giving me ideas

A DIY guide for the splitter would be good too

Splitter looks great - is that OEM or replica?

I'd love those tailpipes even on my 330d that already has twins!

The exhaust is easy. Elbow grease & a junior hacksaw Diffuser is also a doddle to fit. Not sure on the front splitter yet so may get my mate who runs a garage to have a bash tomorrow

Looking good. Didn't really understand what you meant by how the tow bar interferes with the diffuser.. can you explain again?

Sorry, When the towbar is deployed, it comes out as per normal but only just catches the centre fin on the rear diffuser causing it to retract again. If you hold the ball of the towbar it will then securely fit into place. Difficult to explain really

I suspected that twin exit tailpipe would look excellent, and I very nearly selected it over my Akrapovic style one. I would have been equally as pleased with the result. Good job

Nice work frosticles !!!

Like the spacer shots. Always wondered whether 12/15mm would make any real difference. But can see it does.

I guess if you had a retro fit removable Whitter or Wesfalia that wouldn't happen.

Looks like the wallets coming out again

I'm not sure why but I don't think that picture makes it look like the splitter blends with the rest of the car, without skirts etc its a bit too much black at the front. If you're fitting the skirts it may suit more. If not I think if it were my car I would have the top bits blue and leave the bottom black like this one:

But as everything ETTO
