Coded my 228i

First off, I would like to thank Shawnsheridan and pikcachu for answering all of my questions and guiding me.

It seems complex, but it's really easy once you understand how everything works. Really nerve racking when I coded my vehicle and saw the "vehicle needs software update" after the fem_body cafd.

Almost pooped my pants when my engine shut off at a stop sign, but it was the auto off/on, lol.

I coded the sport gauges (hp/torque), blinkers from 3 to 5, doors auto unlock when engine shuts off, digital speed display, tire temp display, and I tried to enable video w/codecs, but I don't have navi so it probably doesn't work. I think I coded two to three other things, but I forgot what they were and didn't test it because I couldn't remember everything I coded.

The best way to code your vehicle is to read the FA/SVT and save your stock settings.
Afterwards, you can disconnect and shut off your engine.
Take your time and look through Pikcachu's cheat sheet to find what you want to code/change. Look for those items through E Sys and make the adjustments. After each module, make sure you save the changes.
When you're back to the main menu, save the modified FA/SVT files.
Plug it back into your vehicle, start it up. Read FA, activate, then code FDL on the CAFD you modified.
I think as long as the completed window is green, everything is okay despite what your iDrive says.

I coded the windows up/down via key fob. Anyone know how that works?

Yes, hold the lock button. If the windows don't start going up is cause then you missed one of the required codings

Oh, I didn't know there was more than one that needed to be adjusted for windows up.

I see what I did wrong, I coded the mirrors, not windows/sunroof.
