Hi,

What's the general view of this vs M Performance splitter (both unpainted on EBII)?

Opinions on the spoiler on EBII, would it look OK as black or need painting.

I don't like this forum, have ordered a diffuser from 3a Motors as well as black exhaust tips from Sytner - all because I can't have MPPK

The spoiler elements come "unpainted". They are going to need painting, even if it's black. Unless you buy the carbon ones of course.

I think they look ok and i imagine they'd catch a lot less speed bumps than the splitter does. If you like them then go for it!

Lorcan, can these be removed easily without requiring repair work done to the original parts?

It'll be an M Perfomance type splitter now anyway - need to remove it when car is handed back.

But now you have another decision, how to paint it!

Hmm yes - any pics of it painted in EBII? Or do people leave it as is?

The vast majority leave it all black, or paint it all body colour, but then a small few paint the bottom, and then some paint the top!

I would do it like this personally:

I think so, also the black lower bit, just like the black grills, don't show up particularly well in photos, it would be more noticable in person.

I don't like the black top as it makes part of the bumper disappear, and all painted makes the car look taller and therefore not as wide:

I think in the painted pic, it does look taller but I think that's perhaps exaggerated by the lack of number plate to break up the look and add a 'barrier' of sorts. Nevertheless, good to have ideas and will decide what to do in the meantime. Just off to order on eBay now.

PS it looks like an Audi/wide-mouthed frog, in the painted pic :-)

There was a pic somewhere on here of two EBII F30 M Sports, from directly in front of them, one had full painted MP lip, other was standard, it was incredible how much wider the standard one appeared! Can't find the pic now though
