M division should have created a front fascia/bumper w/o fogs

Can anyone do a photoshop rendering without fog lights?

I wouldn't be surprised if after-market body kit makers do this - i.e. sans fog lights

I know traditionally ///M cars didn't have fogs... I think the fogs look nice on the new F15's.

I'm happy they're still there.

Me too. Biggest frustration with my E70 x5m was the lack of fog lights. Invaluable on a rainy wet road where you can't use high beams....

Aren't the fogs on this car, because in most countries outside the U.S., the night vision system uses them as spotlights to shine a warning light onto the detected object?

From BMW.com:

BMW Night Vision with dynamic light spot.
Excellent vision, even at night: BMW Night Vision with dynamic light spot makes it easy to identify people and large animals at night – even at a significant distance.
An infrared camera mounted on the BMW kidney grille transmits images from the front of the vehicle onto the Control Display. The image allows the driver to identify people and animals at a distance of up to about 300 m.

As soon as the infrared system detects pedestrians or animals in the dark, it directs one of two separately controlled dynamic light spots onto them, without any unpleasant dazzling effect. This light ensures that both the driver and the illuminated person approaching are effectively warned of a potentially hazardous situation.

The driver receives additional warnings in critical situations via the regular display and the BMW Head-Up Display. A flashing red icon (animal or person) is displayed if there is an acute risk of collision. An acoustic alarm is also sounded and the brakes are primed for optimum readiness. The warning system is automatically engaged when the vehicle is started. The system even emits a warning when the imaging display has not been activated. BMW Night Vision with dynamic light spot is an innovation from BMW ConnectedDrive.
