BMW M2 and M4 GTS officially referenced in BMW workshop schedule

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Photo from bimmertoday, taken at a BMW Internet Market Workshop, but since removed.

M2 has already shown up in BMW USA's production schedule: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1082153 and the M4 GTS has been mentioned by BMW insider Scott26 previously.

The photo was taken at a BMW marketing event and the M2 as well as the M4 GTS are mentioned on the official schedule.

It's basically just another confirmation that both models exist.
Nothing new in the text apart from that, just the usual speculation.

Yup, that's my summary of that as well.
Looks like it's just a report of the fact that it's being now discussed

It is a marketing workshop. At 11:15 AM you can see the topic "BMW M2" and "BMW M4 GTS". I think this is the first time that BMW speaks itself about the BMW M2. But this informations should have been told to people in a closed room.

This is what I am currently doing with the 2015 vehicle launch strategy where we show our global marketing teams the vehicles and the programmes we intend to run on these new vehicles.

So we stand up and introduce the vehicles with a speech saying what they are, what they are about , where we see these vehicles in terms of segment , competitor and customer. Whilst the cars drive in and rotate on the platform to a video presentation for each model or sub model.

Its basically an auditorium but we have 2 turntables to show off each vehicle whilst we promote them to our marketing teams. It was my first time seeing the new M3 which you will see in May at the M Festival.

No. Cameras are not allowed and that also goes for phones.
The last high profile leak was at an early presentation for the E63 and E64 6er. A US dealer photographed the two and put them on line or sent them to a magazine. Management at that time went ballastic. Completely Bat-shit crazy and They lost their franchise, I think they now sell Korean. Hyundai or Kia.

Also, is this final finished production models only or are concept or development cars also shown?

Bat shit crazy bwahahaha!
I am almost glad to be honest. But feel free to tell us stuff, no one needs to know.

We show pre-production models and the first units that are undergoing test production. We did show our forthcoming new Concept car at the end.

Not that it was all that useful to begin with, but still

I figured that no phones or cameras were allowed. I was hoping for something like the Macan presentation pic, or like the Ducati 1299 pic (where a big poster with "1299" was behind a group pic).

Rule #1 of the internet: Once an image goes online, it will always be online. And now it's saved to my phone too. Lol.
