Anybody know what the best settings are for the HK system, there was a list on here somewhere but I can't seem to find it now.

I have found that these settings give a true flat EQ curve, as the standard settings are too weak on both bass and treble.

If you set it like this you can then use the bass & treble adjustments to suit your personal preferences.

Didn't know you could set the HK system to your pref, nice. Another thing to play with on the drive home after collection

Why would you have +5 on 200hz and -7 on 100hz? Looks very bizarre to me!

+1. However does it depend on the type of music you usually listen to determine which settings you should choose ?

I've found that there is a considerable frequency overlap crossover between each particular frequency adjuster, so adjusting one level up tends to drag the next one with it more than I'd like. I'm into my hifi (always have been). I can sort of see where the +7 and -5 is coming from! The HK system isn't bad, but it's not as good as it should be.

There isn't a 'right' setting to use. Just adjust it until you get a sound you are most pleased with. Also don't forget what may sound good when stationary might not be so pleasing when on the move.

This!
Tried it out this morning and with a bit of increase on treble and bass to my liking I found this one as good a setting as I've found!

Agree, let your own ears decide.

It's definitely one of those subjective things, but quite a lot of discussion here:
