Check Engine light

Hello all

I have a check engine light showing up (yellow) and the engine temp gauge is stuck on cold end (doesnt move even I warm up the engine).

Is it a DIY ? What could be the possible cause ?

2013 BMW 328i with 18K miles on it.

Just last week I took my 13 335i in for the amber check engine (normally means emissions fault). Dealer replaced the Throttle-body, cracked intake pipe to throttle-body and an O2 sensor (failed) before the Cat.

Sounds like a warranty trip to the dealer.
