Camber Plates for your F2x F3x

Here is another solution for those looking to add more and adjustable camber for street and track duty.

The New F2x F3x Camber Plates are made with an anodized aluminum main plate, and stainless steel bearing housing, stress link mount and fasteners. This is not the cheapest way to make these parts, but TC Kline Racing in only interested in offering the best quality components possible.

The camber adjustment holes offer aprox. ¾ degree camber change for each position, from the center, (stock), to 2 ¼ additional degrees adjustment.

These camber plates are designed to work with TC Kline Racing coil-over suspension, stock suspension use OEM or Sport type springs(OEM thrust bearing must be transferred over to the new plates) and any coilovers using stock upper strut mounts.

EDC compatible.

Application:

F22 F23 228i 228iX M235i M235iX

F30 F31 F32 F33 F34 F36 320i 328i 335i 420i 428i 435i and all x-drives and diesels

Great solution for those not going to full coilovers, but looking for extra camber.

Yah but I do have coilovers. Waiting for more info to see if these are compatible with KW V2 on my xDrive F31.

If your coilover use stock upper mounts, these will work, including the KW V-series.

Fitment updated to include all x-drive and diesels.

Excited about this. I may need to pick these up if after I lower my car on Bilstein coil overs and my camber is out of whack. What is the cost for these? I assume they are only for the front?

I have GC touring camber, its great but on bumps roads or on imperfect road it sounds like u getting destroyed

i made sure the install is correct so i guess its how camber works.

Yes, for the front only.

These are to add more camber and not to take any out. The default setting is OEM camber.

That shouldn't be the case and certainly not the norm with camber plates we have sold and installed. Then again, we do not sell or install GC plates.

The F22 transmits the heim joint noise very effectively into the cabin. Harold has set my expectations low that these new TCKline plates will be noise-free. Check my posts for my experience with GC plates.

Camber plates themselves aren't noisy when designed properly and tolerances are kept very tight.

Keep in mind that road and suspension noises are already there, they are just mask by the rubber in the OEM mounts. Once you take that away, we all know what we get.

We all want race car parts on our street cars so compromises must be made.

I'd actually be happy with being able to move the stock rubber mount inboard for an effective negative 2.5deg camber. The precision of the heim joint is wasted on me, I just need the camber for big rubber/tire wear.

For big rubber on my M Roadster I did the hat swap trick and I couldn't be happier.

With the new chassis the E36 hat swap days are gone.

It is possible to make OEM like strut mounts with added camber, but it would have to left to some of the bigger players to make that happen. We are talking about OEM type suppliers.

I'm curious about that: is caging a rubber or urethane bushing harder than doing so for a spherical bearing, or is it just a question of volume?

That would be a question for OEM suppliers. We have only dealt with spherical bearings.

My question is: what would prevent you from offering a urethane or rubber solution?

What about slotting the holes in the strut tower a bit? My E90 had slotting from the factory and i got some extra camber by removing the pin on the hat and sliding the whole strut assembly inwards. I would imagine you could do a little without ruining the structural integrity of the strut tower. I found it doesn't take much extra camber to really improve the way a street car drives.
