Car Coded last night

Good morning everybody, I got my car coded last night. Lights, euro mdm, mirrors folding when locking car 2-second delay and seat belt chimes turned off. I didn't want to go crazy with it just yet and it's easy to have them come back and code some other goodies if I want. A big thank you to a true gentleman that came to my house to do it. Didn't want to chance it myself and screw things up.

After coding we went for a quick drive and the lights were brighter and kept moving around and adjusting to the driving environment. Very cool, it was dark and the high beams come on automatically and then shut down when you come up to a well lit street. On coming traffic never flashed me.

I had more coding done last night. Brake light flashes when braking hard instead of just lighting up. Keeps people awake at night. Ventilation system (AC, HEAT) does not come on unless I specifically want it to. Got rid of all warnings on Idrive screen and one push start stop engine, I have DCT so while stopped and in D just hit button once and with foot still on brake open the door and everything shuts off.

I can't talk about euro mdm yet because this just happened last night and haven't given it a chance yet. If the rain stops and it dries up I'll get into that later, and report back

Folding mirrors work perfectly.

Seat belt chimes GONE. I find them very annoying. I wear my seat belts all the time and so do the passengers but there are times when I really don't need the car to lower my music to remind me to put them on, I will get to it. More to come on MDM Mode

EDIT: More coding last night. 1)-I have brake light flashing when braking hard instead of just lighting up, keeps other motorists awake 2)-Ventilation system is off until I physically turn it on, nothing more annoying than A/C on when you first start car in the morning 3)-all warnings from I-drive screen gone and 4)-One touch stop/start no more 2 pushes on button. I have DCT so one push of Stop/Start when car is in D keep foot on brake and open door and all shuts off. I think I'm done with coding now.

I want all you got done plus DVD in motion, play from USB. Windows roll up with door open. AC off always on start. And all NAV/display warnings to go away.

AC off at start because you don't really want the car starting up in the morning with the AC on if it's not needed. The AC zaps the engine power and after driving for a few minutes you realize the damn thing is on and you don't want it to be.

Awesome stuff, I am not smart enough to do this myself so I will have somebody in the states do it remotely. I have to find a place that will re-code for free or low cost after stealership adds software and deletes it all.

How is euro mdm in comparison to stock mdm?

I remember watching chris harris and he mentioned you could drift with mdm on... i can barely accelerate at a green light with out the engine cutting off

Here ya go:

I finally got my software to work correctly. It turns out that my work laptop had a firewall which prevents the car from connection. Lesson learned, don't use a work laptop.

Euro MDM intervenes less compared to U.S MDM. It'll allow more wheel slippage before kicking in = lets the tail kicks out more.

You can. My thread contains the link to the cable and Shawn's contact to get the software. Once you learned to code, search for MDM coding on this forum.

It's really simple. Just read the instructions Shawn sent you. Don't forget to donate to his coding and hosting partner.
