New Exhaust for F3x 35i from Ragazzon (Italy)

Hi

This is the new FULL exhaust available for F3x 35i engineered this week by
Ragazzon (http://www.ragazzon.com/usa/index.php)

The first prototipe is maded over my 335i

Main feature :

Best stainless steel on market
Resonator deleted
Flow optimisation
+10Cv over Stock
approved for europe (84Db on 3000rpm)
Beautifull (for my point of view)
Light

Yes i try to make a video when the rains stops on my country.

Remember my car is an activehybrid 335i and the sound is not exact the same of a traditional 335i 435i.

Is this another one of those overpriced exhausts, or will this one actually cost what its worth without a stupid BMW premium?

Not a bad price, not what I was expecting for an Italian Made Exhaust but, I was expecting more raspy typical Italian sound like Tubi or SuperSprint. It sounded pretty dull but I noticed you have an ActiveHybrid, would love to see a video on a regular 335.

Yes
This exhaust is perfect for PowerKit users (Burble, more sound etc etc)

I try today when the car is Hot to make a new video on the road

Remember :

Are not rendered movies in the studio with a equalized mic .....

Franzzz, I just bought and installed this Ragazzon exhaust on my AH3 thanks to your videos and posts. The sound is very good but I have vibrations inside of the car between 1K and 2K RPM and this is not bearable for me... (and for my wife :-) )

I will PM you to ask your opinion about it because I think it is not a normal situation

It's the full exhaust system With Mid Pipe without resonator ?

Your system is equipped with the electronic valve in order to keep the exhaust less loud on ECO PRO or Comfort Mode ?

Just to share or PM, i get this resonance with the akra as well, but things got better after a track day, exhaust pipes got very hot and with dilation i think it helped put parts into place and reduced vibration.

That being said, my wife still thinks it's too loud. So thinking of reverting to stock exhaust for peace

Either way i still have none of that nice M2 style burbling

I will go back to my reseller next saturday to check everything but I'm afraid we won't find any solution since the problem is coming from the lack of resonator as you mentioned. I will see if we can adapt the original pipe with the Raggazon rear silencer...

The sport mode is very nice with the new exhaust but my main disappointment is to see that in Eco or Comfort, the vibration are very unpleasant and I'm not sure I could bear them for a long time...

I also had the pleasure to meet Lancelot who is living surprisingly at 5 km from my home. He showed me his nice car and he took me for a little ride around his home. The Akra has a similar sound compared to the Ragazzon but with less vibrations as Lancelot explained above.
I don't know if I will be able to wait for a hypothetical reduction of the vibration...
