switched 12V power
I just got my new 2015 BMW M235i and the first thing I wanted to do was install an Escort 9500ci. I found the hole in the fire wall under near the fuse box in the engine compartment and ran all of the wires without issue. I also put the speaker in the hole for the clutch pedal as my car is an automatic.
The one thing that really baffled me is that I cannot find a positive 12V that switches on/off with the start button (or radio). I looked at the fuse diagram and have never seen anything like it. There at 8 fuses listed for the radio??? My first instinct was to tap into the fuse box on the firewall, but I couldn't find a switched circuit. I did some searches here and saw the mirror option, but that doesn't appear to be switched either. Can someone provide some help? I am happy to tap into the fusebox at either end of the car or a wire in the interior. If at the fuse panel what number? Thanks |

Some of the switched options may be on until the car goes to sleep.
