Grand coupe great car, sexy as hell to my eye...and engine is great - but I have to say I was suprised that my 335D MSport with JBD is just so much better to drive (IMHO) - Ive grown so accustomed to the torque and heavy planted feel of my car that I suppose Ive been taking it a bit for granted / Even the owner of the Grand Coupe after driving my car said holy sh*t that car is amazing....
Just a quick share....thats all ps- the 435 is still sitting down in my parking garage Im sitting here looking at keys to both cars...heading out right now to do some errands...Im taking the Diesel |

I got a loaner car near identical to my gray msport D except it was a 335i. I was glad to get mine back. Pull around corners and arounf downtown Houston was disappointing (to me atleast). I cranked it up to get on freeway and i was more fun then. But this was before I got the remap on the DDE (amongst other things). I presume a 435i and the E90 335i are similar engine but don't know other than the 335i has an N55. I will go see what the other has after hitting submit.

Funny, I spent the weekend at my cousins house. One has a 2014 BMW M5 and the other has a 2015 335i M-Sport.
I loved the power of the M5 and the 6 speed manual. Very big car though. However, the 335 just felt slow compared to our diesels. Yes I know it's faster than our diesels but it doesn't have that same torquey feeling that the diesel has. The M5 has it for sure. Makes me solidify what my next car will be! M3!!! |
