Texas BMW Distribution Center
I had posted this in the ED section, but it may be better suited for this one.
The Port of Galveston is getting a BMW distribution center. I can only assume that means cars leaving Germany will be discharged in Texas rather than New Jersey. This is great news for those doing a ED or those just wanting their cars to come in sooner. Hopefully this leads to bigger things like a local BMW driving center/school. If California gets one, we should too. http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/...-of-galveston/

Don't they currently go to the Brunswick, GA VPC for southern state deliveries? The news also made the main page of the forum.

I read about this as well. From what I recall this would be port for the gulf state cars only. NJ would still be intact. Either way hope it follows with a greater BMW presence in TX..
